52 Weeks of Cooking- Week 18 *random*

So the other day, my manager looked at me and said: "What do you think a chocolate chip cookie would taste like without the chocolate chips?"

So of course I had to try it.

I found a real simple recipe and it turned out really good. Seriously.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add baking soda and salt. Stir in flour.

Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.

Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
